Child Safety

Child safe standards

St. Malachy's School is a Child Safe School. We have a zero tolerance stance on child abuse and are committed to the protection of all children from all forms of abuse.
The Child Safe Standards are about keeping children safe.  The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people at St. Malachy's School is our highest priority.  St. Malachy's School is committed to strengthening practices for the protection of children and young people in line with the Victorian Government Child Safety Reforms.

Founded in Christ and sustained by faith, St. Malachy's School seeks to fulfil its mission of enabling each student to grow into the fullness of their own humanity.  This includes paying attention to the inherent dignity of children and young people and their fundamental right to be respected, nurtured and safeguarded by all. Keeping children safe is everyone's responsibility.

The Child Protection Officer at St. Malachy's School is John O'Sullivan.
